"Plaisir" is a French word meaning "to enjoy" to "joy". As a restaurant directly managed by JA Zennoh Hyogo, we created this restaurant with the intention of serving customers by providing them with prime-quality Kobe Beef, as well as fresh agricultural produce sourced within Hyogo Prefecture, and we allow them to indulge in these ingredients together with the choicest wines and alcoholic beverages. We are sincerely looking forward to your visit.

Easy enough to find and food was good - not blow your brains out or the best in the world but good enough. Very expensive and poor service - was offered last orders while we were still eating and brought the bill immediately after, and felt rushed out the door so the staff could leave by 9pm (when paying US$500, we wanted to enjoy the experience, and although we were late - arriving at 8pm - due to train delays, this was no excuse). All in all it was good but I wouldn't go back or recommend it to anyone.

Cooked and served to perfection. Michelin star worthy dining experience. As a backpacker, I allowed my self to indulge my self at one Kobe Beef restaurant. I'm so glad this was my choice. And it is definitely worth the price.They service was impeccable. The chef shows you the meet and makes sure you are fine with the level of done-ness and you can actually see him doing his art if you sit at the counter. The meat was GODLY! I Can't even describe how good it was, and it was the main star of the feast. (Appetizer and dessert were fine, but the meat definitely out-shined them)Every one was very kind to me, and spoke good English with me, which made this experience much more enjoyable and less stressful for me.If you are planning to eat KOBE Beef in in KOBE, this is the place for you!Thanks you Kobe Plaisir.

Meat was fair, but very expensive, very small portions, and they added 20% surprise tax after the (twice) agreed price.The overall meal was bland and not impressive at all. For the same price in Paris one would get a much better meal.I cannot recommend. Keep your money for a good Argentinean steakhouse.

Arrived and saw a notice posted that they were closed because they were giving Tajima beef when people ordered Kobe beef... As a customer that wanted to experience Kobe beef in Kobe, I’m glad this came out before I arrived!

Used to be our favorite Kobe steak restaurant until news reported they have been using non-Kobe beef since 2015. Fake Kobe beef charged with Kobe beef price. Dishonest practice! Be careful.

Excellent meat but pricy, especially when regarding the service - friendly but I was still eating when I was asked if I would like to order anything else & immediately received the check afterwards (this is the American-way, not appreciated by anyone outside the US, I guess).

I was treated like royalty and enjoyed myself immensely. I recommend sitting at the counter table so that you can see your premium beef get seared on a hot iron oven. It's an expensive indulgence to spend $300 on a course, but worth it if it's once in a lifetime. Would I ever do it again, no! Was it worth the price, yes! Just a once in a lifetime experience.

We had a very amazing experience at this restaurant. The course we had was the steamed kobe beef with some onions. Everything was top notch from the appetizer to the dessert. They includes beef in almost every menu on the course so we get to enjoy variety of Japanese beef meals.Staff were friendly and the place was very accessible and easy to reach, only a few minutes walk from a major station. You would need to make a reservation before coming in as they need to prepare the ingredients and the food beforehand. Be sure to dress well for this upscale experience.

Food was great, gormet and rather high end, the waiter who helped us cook Japanese hotpot was good. The only thing I wasn’t happy about was the front desk. I asked about the price before we decided to go in, and I specifically asked if the price shown on the menu was for two people, and she said yes. After the meal, it turned out it was for each person, so our cost immediately doubled. They also added 10% service fee and tax, which wasn’t clear on their menu. I understand and am ok with all these charges, but I just wish I was clearly told at the beginning rather than being caught in surprice at the end.

I tasted Kobe beef steak at lunch with a guest from Canada. As expected, it was mild, but various vegetables from the prefecture were also delicious (description of the production area was attached: photo). The staff at the counter seat with a good atmosphere explained it and it was baked with an iron plate while explaining, and the service was excellent. An English commentary was also given. After-meal dessert was taken to a separate dessert room, and I enjoyed coffee and sweets on the sofa.

Fantastic food and excellent service. We submitted a reservation request and were offered alternative days and times as our initial day was full - reservation is an absolute must as already mentioned. We took the Teppanyaki course B with the fish selection and Kobe beef, and I seriously cannot fault it. Simply amazing.

Excellent food even if we were falsely served a piece of beef (excellent by the way and very well marbled) for kobe beef. Note however that the restaurant fully reimbursed us for the meal a few months later when the error was discovered. The atmosphere was excellent and the preparation before us quite a spectacle.

You can get steak (Teppan-yaki), shabu-shabu, steamed steamed chicken at the directly managed restaurant of JA All Farming Hyogo.Meat is of course good quality for the operation of JA, but vegetables are particularly delicious.If it is lunch, I think that it is unique to JA retail store that the meat of this class can be eaten at this price and around 3000-10000 yen.Of course there are Kobe beef, so I think if you like meat of the A4-5 class with sashi, Kobe beef (7000-10000 yen) is good.Drink menu can be selected from around 600 yen, which is also reasonable!Teppanyaki is up to 20 people of 10 people x 2 turns, and reservations must be taken fairly early.Teppan-grilled salmon can choose white rice or garlic rice, but everyone should choose garlic rice from the smell and good appearance!Be careful when dating.After-meal desserts are relaxing and enjoyable, so it's nice to have them in the separate salon.

I went for a dinner party of 14 people. It seems to be the management and operation of JA Hyogo. As is the case in Kyushu, there are more stores where JAs have opened. There are many relatively reasonable shops. Although it is not so cheap here, I think it offers the best Kobe beef at a reasonable price. The interior of the store also has a profound atmosphere as a steak house. Naturally, the meat was satisfying, but the garnished vegetables were delicious.

So far the best dining experience I‘ve ever had in Japan!We ordered a foie gras set and a seafood set. Both of them were excellent!The foie gras was seriously the best I’ve had. And the Kobe beef was of course not disappointing at all!The waitress was so nice and helpful. The chef was good in cooking skills. The whole meal was so satisfying. And it’s just around 18000yen for two people. Impressive and highly recommend!

Booked online through tabelog. Unclear email confirmation from them. Tried to clarify with them with email but no reply. Went there on the booking date and received a very rude reply face to face. Fortunately we managed to find another place for teppanyaki nearby.

A very cozy steak shop. I received it in rare. Although it was a long time steak, the young woman baked in front of me and explained it carefully, and I was very satisfied. The taste was great. I had a very relaxing time. The rest dessert is also satisfying. Please go there once.
